anyone notice this??

Ever since the first day ive owned my car, which is about 4 months ago...ive noticed how far away our steering wheel is! When i let my girlfriend and my best friend drive it, that was the first thing they said too! Kinda funny!

I really hate the lack of headroom (I'm 6'2").

I agree with the stick shift being far from the driver, or is it that my arms are kind of short

I push the seat forward a bit and a b&m adapter pulls the stick back and I'm comfortable. can't speed any more so I better be in my own damned car. on the other hand, my girlfriend complains and does all kinds of stuff with the seat and still thinks the car was built for giants. she likes the looks she gets when she's driving it though.

i agree with the lack of head room, i am under 6 foot and it is pretty close with the seat all the way down.

I never had a problem with headroom and I'm 6'1". Maybe it's because I have no hair.

Nope never noticed that before. Its perfect for me. I put the chair all the way back and lean it back some too and the steering is still not to far. Head room is fine for me too and i'm 6'1.

I think there are some seat adjustments to the right of the drivers seat that you can use to move the seat closer to the wheel. I have only done it once though...........

ok smart asses! Let me explain, im 6'3"......no problem with headroom, so lets just drop that, drop that backrest and ride out like a PLAYA! im not complaining, you can look like miss daisy but expect problems with your head, or whatever...something about head room, i dont know, girls, WHATEVER!....but seriously, i need telescoping steering wheel, maybe moms new 330 is just growing on me....i must admit, the week she was gone, i didnt drive the cl alot! HE-HE! call me a traitor, what you must....but opportunities arise!

I think it is agravating not having a telescoping wheel. I used to drive all layed back in the car but now I'm modifying it a bit and practicing good hand placement and technique for racing.
I'm trying to train myself to shift better and handle the car better now so that in the future when I get a CRX or Hatchback hybrid and get involved in true road-race (at track) activities I'll have good technique to build on.

That all said, when I get the seat so that everything is in the correct position, the wheel needs to move closer to me by about an inch or so.
The seat is also too high up, probably because of all the electric motor guts they had to fit under it.
