Anyone with exhaust knowledge?

I happened to stumble upon this bolt on axle back on ebay. It says that it is for the 94-97 accord, and yes i know we are almost the same. But, my question, I have the 3.0, this may be direct on the 2.3, does anyone know if it works for the 3.0? Magnaflow is decent quality, thats the only reason why i am asking....

It should work just fine. You may need to slightly bend a hanger, but otherwise, it should fit ok.

Well then, i might just have to buy one of these off this guy. I would love it if it was a dual look, but hey the N1 style isn't that bad looking.

Yea...i got mine for $200 but it wasnt AxleBack like that one is...im sure you could find a dual tip for around the same price but then u might not get the Axleback then..(i got my piping custom bigger...is it wasnt a prob for me..) But hey, do whatever U like the best..it dosnt matter what everyone else thinks...i mean people could love Dusts and hate mine because i have the "rolled edge" but i love mine.. :-)

I do have to say that I am not a big fan of your exhaust C.J. but like you said, it is for U not me. Whatever you like is what you should get. But I thought that the exhaust for a 2.2/2.3 wouldn't fit a 3.0. You know, there is that whole v6 thing.

KC, i was thinking the same thing......But, i think that applies to cat-back systems. This is axle, and it looks like it may work, pipe wise. Like i said, i am not sure, but Dust thinks that it might fit, maybe i may have to bend hangers and that's it! I am hoping this will be a cheap way out, with good quality.

come to the shop and i will bend you 2.5 inch straight pipe from the header back. that is hp. back pressure is overrated, from my experience i dont see back pressure being as touchy as people say it is. it takes a sharp pipe and a sledge hammer to pound out a cat, so you know they are terribly restrictive.

I'll tell you how my Magnaflow shounds when I get it installed this Friday. I got the 5x8 4" tip (I think it's #14827). I think I got that for $110 or so. Anyways, I'm gonna be running 2.5" piping from the cat back. I know it's a 2.25" inlet into the muffler, but we're gonna be expanding it so it almost fits the 2.5....anways, i'll post some pics when it's done

rmstoico: Where is your shop anyway? I thought that you were in the Maryland area.....

CLTECH: That sounds like a plan, i will wait to hear your results

Another Reason to wait: I just bought rims like 10 min ago an eBay! Awesome deal on opal ADR skye-7's, 18's of corse!
