Anybody got Sirius aftermarket?

It looks good to me. Only thing is, they recommend you mount the antenna outside the car. The antenna looks like a computer mouse, only smaller. And it's wired which means you'd have the damn wire outside too. So, anybody done this? Also where would you mount the receiver? It's about 4 x 4 inches, on a little stand that you stick/screw somewhere. Interfacing is no problem - Alpine HU has the RCA jack. I've f*ing had it with commercial radio.

thanks...

Sirius ROCKS!

I put my antenna on the rear deck right in front of the 3rd brake light and I rarely have any signal issues

I have XM. Not sure if the antenna's are the same, but i put mine top and center above my rear window. I must say I love satalite radio, and I almost switched to Sirius to get the NFL games!

if I did it, I'd get one from a newer Acura or Accord and drill a hole. I don't like the ones sirius or xm has.

that's good to know - didn't want to run it outside. now I gotta find a place to mount the little tuner.

when i had sirius i had the antenna on the front dash kind of wedged between the windshield and the glass... never had any reception issues.

rear deck works too.

as soon as i sell my truck or rims i think im dumping it all in their stock. their new ad campaign is great. i totally dropped the ball on amd. if i only had kept it longer i would have been about 5k less in debt on my legacy.

peace
