Recently, I just sold my current setup. (Thanks to PLuGiNn)


And, now I'm making another one just for practicing again. The console that I'm working one is made for 94-97 accords which fits perfectly, but slightly different.

I just finished sanding and made a frame.. gotta use a bondo to fit well, sand again, prime, and paint it..

this time, I won't cut the bottom part, just because I might sell it later, and the buyers might want to put their decks into the globe box or somewhere.. so.. but I'll cut it to make the deck fit if the buyer wants. (oh well, this is too far.. I didn't make it yet..lol)

p.s: I don't know what color to paint.. any suggestions..?? (just black? or silver..? not primrose this time.. )

 

looks like a fun project, so where are you gonna mount the deck this time?

 

Acutally, I don't think I'll use this setup again into my car. I'll just make it as a project and just sell it as is on ebay later.

I already have 5 screens that are sitting in my room now.. 2 for visors, 2 for headrests, and 1 for this setup.

So, I'll just have a deck and a dvd player in the center console, and use other screens.

no more screen in middle :X

But, once I figure out the problem i have (immigration), I might buy a double din screen into the center console.

 

good project... is this screen your working on now going to be bigger than your last one?

 

No, it's just samething, but little different shape of screen frame.. and will be painted in different color. And, I won't put the deck under the screen this time.. put it somewhere if I use it.. but i doubt it.. :P

Umm... I'm thinking of making a custom fitted iPod holder into the cupholder area..

what do u guys think..?

How many CLers have hooked up their iPod into their CLs?

 

Mine hooks up with the line input on the front of my deck... No big deal... Works great. The other day, I was washing a comforter at the local SPEEDY WASH and I hooked my G4 iBook to it and watched a couple of episodes of ER from the DVD. It was great. The whole car was in the ER. Love it. Watching video in your car is...
