Alot of useless mods that probably costed him alot. Is a relocated gas filler and license plate box really needed? I think the hood looks way better opening regularly than sideways. I'm assuming that he is getting a paint job as well, since his car looks like it is just done in primer. Other than a few strange things, I think it is a pretty pimped out CL.

 

Some people waste WAAAY too much money on their cars.

BTW that looks like he just put the base on his car and didn't have the money to finish it.

I always wondered what suicide doors on our car would look like....not the worst thing on the car but defenitely different. That top has got to go.
Tailights....what's wrong with the ones we have already? I think ours are pretty original themselves. IMO
Any1 think his trunk opens differently?

Someone give this thing an update sometime. I wanna know what his choice of paint is.

 

Not a whole lot good about that one. Taillights are too small for the car and most of the other mods probably cost more than the car is worth to start with. And hydraulics belong on cadillacs and lincolns not acuras imho.

oh haha i just noticed...this guy lives like 5 min from me. i should go over there and "talk" to him about his car....

 

i'd leave it flat black with a white pinstripe down the side and a hot rod graphic on the trunk. then sit it down on some brushed billet 20's. but that's just me. i think the cl could look good with a proper hot rod/rat rod treatment.

 

u should bring all of us to "talk" about his car.. that would be a huge laugh

It actually toook me awhile to look at his car and form an opinion. The first picture, i think it looks really nice. a few unneccesary items. But i think it looks pretty nice. All he needs to do is get a nice paint job on it. Its unique. I think he did it pretty well. its a lot better than a lot of other CLS that have been posted on here..IE the green one with the blue bumper and the clashing graphics .... But the second picture is a complete waste. Its like you look at the first picture and your like "thats not bad" then you look at the second picture and your all "WTF".... RICE!!! DaMNIT

Minus the hood mod of course. That shit is dumb. Oh yeah... needs to be painted for sure too.

And whoever said hydraulics don't belong on the CL, go surf the 2nd gen forum and look @ pumpedcl's ride. (not exactly his name, but i'm sure you all know who I'm talking about).

I've seen his car and in my opinion it doesn't look right. I commend him for all the work he must have in it but its simply not my taste. I guess I just like my CL's to look more understated rather than extreme.

 

Yeah look in the second picture or Here and you can see that it opens the opposite direction of the hood.

 

CLassy that's what a CL is for. If you look through their club site, they do a lot of custom shit, but it's all pretty ricey. They have a lot of money, but they go in too many different directions IMO

 

the tails are from a SC430 lexus

they dont look like to be aligned from the angle of the first picture
