Ok you all know my car ordeal. Well its finally come to an end. My dad got me a 2003 Mazda Protege. No its not the Protege5 unfortunately. Because my dad was willing to buy me a standard car because I had learned lol. BUt yea. Its silver, with 67K miles and got it for 6 grand. Pretty good deal I suppose. I cant complain. Although I can complain that its no Acura. But Im still going to try and save up my money and get my own car. That I can make my project car. Like a 2.2/2.3 (5 spd) {boosted son}. I just got a new job at Advanced Auto Parts which Im pretty pumpeed about as opposed to Burger King where I work now lol. Im sorry but I dont have any pictures right now. But Ill get you some ASAP. Just though I would share with you peeps.

a while back i found a protege5 in manhattan beach, CA that was ballin. 14g, had 5spd, navi, headrest monitors, black rims, custom paint, exhaust, and other stuff. it looked fine

At least advanced auto parts is a better change, but I'd probably shoot for an electronics retailer or something. You can score some decent pay there plus a good discount on stuff you are more likely to buy.

unfortunately the more I look at this car the more defects I find on its exterior

for instance the rear left tire is different from all the rest

the paint is rough in like there is overspray from a paint job on the drivers side front fender and the top of the drivers door. Some wierd color spots on the hood. I was like Ill get paintjob. But then I was like nah Ill use that money towards the car I buy whenever that may be.

Alright, random bump i kno.

To put things in short, MY dad and I are looking for a car again.

The Protege was in the shop getting the tranny fluid flushed (the old tranny fluid was black....) and an oil change
and the tranny slipped on me 3 times. So we took her in right away. THe mechanic told us we need to get rid of it. Said all sort of things were messed up. HE said there was basically a nut the was just hanging (not tightened) and when the tightened it, then starte dhte car, it made all sorts of noises. He said the tranny may have been replaced and that a lot of parts had like part numbers that were on there, like from a junkyard, and that they looked like they (previous owners) had tried to get the numbers off.

I dont have more info because thats all my dad told me when he called me from work.
