alright I dont want this thread to get locked but this question is kind of random
I need help from those good with wiring and stuff to that matter.
I bought an Ooga Horn from my store, yes I know, retarded. But yea I bought everything needed for the project.
heres my horn, amps, relays, fuseholders, wire, electrical tape and what not.
heres my engine bay (battery on the left)
where I plan on mounting it
and the guy at work drew a picture for me and I decided to make one on ms paint
SO my questions are:
-does this diagram look half decent
-what would be the best way to get from the engine bay with the wires to the inside of the car.
thanks and any other opinions are welcome.

Yeah that relay looks fine but if you want to just use a ground switch instead of running a positive lead for the battery you can hook your relay as follows:
86 and 30 - Go to 12v source (battery)
85 Goes to your switch which will simply have the opposite pole of itself grounded (instead of running that other wire to the battery, just ground it)
87 goes to the horn.
The reason I suggest that is because you will not have to run another fused wire into the car. Just one fused connection (30 and 86) will keep it cleaner and simpler.
If you really wanted to be nifty, you could tie that into your car's horn. Most likely the horn trigger is negative on your car. Would either need to bust out the multimeter and probe some wires on your steering column, or get a wiring diagram for a better idea. You could even wire both that and a switch... but that is getting a bit more complicated with diodes and whatnot. I'd be willing to give some pointers if you so choose.

Also I believe you could get Xterra's in manual. If you are driving an auto, have a look up to the left of the brake pedal. There should be a clutch plate or knockout there that you could drill through. Just check both sides of the firewall 2 or 3 times before drilling to be sure. Use a unibit to drill through if you have one, will make your life easier.

and Swole. a little offroading and I have mud everwhere in there. Thats after I did a 5 second wipe down with just a rag. That bay was spotless when I got it. Its normal for muddy water to get in there? Would that be bad if it got into the alt?
