Anyone know how to turn off the chirp on the Acura CL alarm on an Acura CL 1999, so the alarm sets and locks the doors silently....the alarm sounds like Poo-Poo

Take your remote, hold the Trunk and Lock button together...

If:

Solid light: Alarm will go "BLOOP BLOOP"
Double blink: Silent style, only lights will blink once or twice, depending on lock and unlock

just press and hold the two buttons on the right till the light blinks.

i highly doubt the manual will talk to you, b/c it's a book.
but in case you decide to, ohhh i dunno, open it and read it, you'll find it doesn't have the instructions. The instructions come on a weeeee little yellow colored piece of paper that should be in the pockets of the manual booklet next to your radio code card.

and if you can't find it, try the search button.

its amazing what information you can find in an owners manual...assuming you have one. if not go to ebay i have seen at least a half dozen up there in the last month or so.
