does a cold air intake
sound more aggressive than a regular intake,
also do u get more power from a cold air intake
or one that is not.

The short ram will be louder.

The CAI will give you more power.

when u get the coldair intake
do u have to cut the tube
to make the cold air fit?

 

i would get a cold air but i'm kinda scare of water going in the engine. Does those bypass really work?

i don't kno...i don't have bypass on my CAI and i drove in the rain (on the freeway) for hours before
shrugz nothing seemed to happen, except i put a piece of cardboard around my intake cuz i was kinda scared

exactly what happens if water DOES get in?

i forgot what year but the CAI i bought was for an accord, and required no mods to put it on

 

i drive everywhere with my CAI....just dont drive over big puddles

 

I wish I could just get a second piece to make my short ram a CAI but when I got my car I had no idea this forum existed so I had no idea you could use the accord intake with our cars. So I went with the only application I could find with our cars (Weapon-R) I know they make a cold ram air application for the intake but I would rather just keep it as is and maybe in the future I’ll cough up some money for an AEM CAI or something. But for now I can live with the hummmmmm

 

i just took my short ram out cuz my girl's parents are visiting for the holiday... don't wanna drive them around and have them think i'm one of those irresponsible street racers
but yeah.. i miss th hum.... i miss that few extra ponnies.. and i miss that sound when it hits high RPM... erggh... gotta put it back right after new years
