aftermarket headunit on factory bose speakers

Well ive got my new Pioneer DEH-P7700MP deck and sirius satellite unit installed. It made the factory Bose speakers come alive. Everyone swears i have a 10 in the trunk. Hell...it even rattles my outside mirrors quite a bit. To all those that say the factory Bose is crap, im defenitely going to argue with you. Very happy so far in my setup. Starting on my box tomorrow hopefully, I just got my sheets of MDF tonight.

have you ever taken a look at the actual speakers themselves? they are made of cardboard :X
Yes they will sound great now but as those speakers were not designed to be putting out that much power they will eventually go bad on you. Save up and get new speakers im doing my boston acoustics setup one step at a time

The Bose speakers are okay but I just dont know any different. I've been looking to replace my rear 6x9's. I heard it's realllly complicated to replace Bose speakers because of something about Bose amplifier. I have a Sony Xplod deck and an amp w/ a couple free channels. Would it be cool to just swap out the 6x9's or is there more to it?
