How easy is the install for the pulleys, assuming there is no change in the crank pulley. If i have never done it before is it worth paying some one to put them in?

Yes I would say that this is one job better done by a professional. If you install it wrong, the belt could get eaten up really quickly or it could hurt your engine in a lot of different ways. Im considering the pulley's too...don't know where to get them installed though..

Go with the UR pullies, some Honda Accord V6 owners are having trouble with their AEM pullies killing their alternators. They have had some real good results with the UR pullies though.

there are a couple different ones. AS FAR AS I KNOW the cam pulley is bigger causing higher rpms. there are underdrive pulleys for your accessories which give less power to your lights, radio, etc. , power which is instead used to power the drivetrain.

There are different types underdrive, lighten and both. Underdrive, gives u a different size wheel where it takes power away from like the AC or battery, etc. This is to give the engine more power. Lighten ones makes the pulleys lighter where the engine takes less power to spin them. These mostly agreed by eveybody it is safe for the engine. The accessory one will give u HP but not as much as reduced weight Crank Shaft one. That one will give you the most. There is a big whole debate if it is safe or not. I not going to get into deep reason Y people believe so now, unless u want to know, or other people going to post Y. Basically it is lighter so it have more of a vibration which in turn will reduce the life of the engine.

If you want to get any noticable power gains get a crank pulley also. Rvmpower.com has one for our cars and its about $100. They have a dyno chart for a stock 98 accord v6 with the pulley on a it made about 10 h.p.
