AEM Fuel Rail + Pressure Regulator

i would do exhaust on my car but since my dads a stiff about me "wasting my money" on my car, ill have to wait till im 18 and the cars in my name to do that. but until then i was thinking of getting an AEM Fuel Rail + pressure regulator. what are the pros and cons to this setup. and is it even necessary to invest in this. if i dont end up buying the fuel rail and pressure reg, ill probaly end up getting Sun Auto ground wires.

i heard that depends on the application. because years and years ago in an import tuner power page dyno test. it added some power to a single cam CRX with basic bolt ons.

It wasnt just the rail. It was other bolt ons as well. The rail is not gonna do much for you unless you have upgrades injectors.

The only reason to get an aftermarket rail for our car is if you have nitrous or FI, and its not even necessary for either of those as far as I know.

Just wait a year (or however much more time is left until you're 18) and keep saving money. That's what I would do.

but that 3-4 might kill my amazing gas mileage because i would have to probaly adjust the regulator. i thought the rail might actually help.

well, the fpr will help dump more thrust into the fuel system so my shit gets mo fuel, but if you have nothing to tune the fpr with its worthless. You want to have dyno time to adjust it correctly. Guessing isnt good enough
