Acura window regulators suck...
Well, I thought the 98 3.0 CL was beyond the window regulator problem. So I am on this bumpy road in the rain going to a party when I hit a pothole. Creek, snap and my window fell about half way. Go figure. I wedged her shut and the repair was not too bad.
$136.00 brand new dealer item.
$ 45.00 labor
$ 25.00 transmission service. (gotta stay out of the 3rd trans club)
So, it is all about who you know. The stealership wanted $150.00 for the labor. Screw them and the hole they crawled out of.
All is well now.

The loss of auto-down is a myth. The Accord part is the exact same part. Honda charges the same as Acura for this one brand-new. The stealership has us by the balls. If you buy a used one, you might be jacked and if you buy after-market, good luck. This one lasted eight years. Not bad.

I wouldn;t say the whole "getting a honda regulator and losing your auto-down" is a myth, it happened to me. It might happen to anyone who gets a new regulator but it happened to me, I'm not losing sleep over it tho..

I know it is easy to do, but man I like my interior tight and right. I broke the plastic tabs on some parts in my Integra and it never was right after that. Screw it, if they break it, they pay for it. If I break it, well... It's on me. I'll pay the labor. It was cheap and they did it without breaking my interior.
