Hi All,

Lately, the ABS light on my dash comes on and stays on for a couple of seconds, then goes away. I'm sure it must be some sensor going bad, or smth starting to go, but I'm not sure what. Has anyone else had this problem?

 

yup....couldnt figure it out at first. sent it to the dealer. they said they fixed it,
and a couple of months later it came on again. this time it stays on after
the car is warm and makes a kind of grgrgrgrgrg sound. come to find out the
resivour [sic] for the hydrolic fluid is leaking out of the side. and that sound is the pump trying to get pressure. the guy at firestone
told me that it would be expensive so if it wasn't a big deal to me just leave it. I'm strapped for cash so I did. don't know if that helped, but that's my story and
I'm stickin to it. brakes still work fine.

 

oh originally the dealer said that one of the rear brakes weren't getting pressure, so
see if that's what your problem is.

Braking seems to be fine for now.

 

you can check the code even though the light is off, search for neidjeb in the members and click his www link

follow the instructions on puling the code and you can pull any code when its not even on, and soemtime you can pull multiple ocde if you have more than one just countthe blinks

 

mines been broken for like 2 1/2 years already. no problems.
