no difference.
pretty much all parts from 96-99 will fit. the only real difference is the motors and the front grill.
oh yeaa.... and the sideskirts are painted on the 98 and 99's

Well I got a letter from the place that does rust proofing where the previous owner went, and they had it as 96 CL. Even more interesting is that I read somewhere that the first CL was introduced in calendar 96 as a 97 Model.
