99 cl tranny

My tranny went out at 134k..... and now it just sitting at my buddies shop for a tranny. I know that accord are interchangeable parts.
Can somebody tell me what year will fit it? and what parts will you have to use to interchange it? details please.

2.3 i'm assuming from the grill? A 2.3 would be a 98-02 accord tranny, but if he's rebuilding the tranny it shouldn't need to really interchange parts

it is a 3.0 cl actually. so it would fit just perfect from the 98-02 accord tranny right?

you couldnt tell it was a 3.0 by the wheels?!
shame on you black. 98-02 accord had the same tranny, but keep in mind that the one you pick could be on its way out too.

alright.... well i been waiting on my tranny for a month suppose to get this hook up from a homeboy who got hook up from his co worker, but dude pull out so im not getting a tranny from the cl........ now i have to get the accord 98-02 tranny V6.. It should slide right into the original mountings right? Making sure before i go and pick up one, instead of getting it and it doesnt fit than it just waste of money and time

There was something different with the accord tranny on why it didnt fit the CL.. However, the rebuild kit will work on either one..

Try getting a whole salvaged car with a good tranny, swapping the tranny's in and putting it up for sale to sell it (the one with a clean title). Then buy yourself a different car (CLS6) like I did...

Oh and part out the totaled one...

Speaking of parts, I still have a few things.

If you want a dead tranny out of a CL to have it rebuilt, I'll sell you mine...

98-02 accord trannies won't work for us. I believe the sensors and wiring were different. Just like how the 97 3.0 CL tranny won't work with the 98/99 3.0 CL.

Question, are you looking for a used tranny to save some money? If so, talk to ghostmasterCL, I'm sure he still has a spare tranny around. I sold him my spare back when he got the Dr. Evil tranny.

Damn lol i was hoping it slided right in...... bet how many thousand miles were on do you remember? i mean any tranny would work wouldnt matter about the mileage if im going to sell it, but i really dont wanna part with the cl. if the tranny good than i am going to keep the car.

What would you guys consider me doing? because i cant find any tranny near by where i am at, the closer the cheaper the freight the further it is the price is higher. If i rebuild the tranny gonna go out at a certain mileage again and than im going to have to rebuilt it again, thats what i dont like lol.
