97 brakes
97 brakes
ok so heres the deal. I was going to upgrade the brakes on my car. I have a 97 3.0 So... I know you have to press the rotor off blah blah. I might as well just convert to the 98/99 brakes yes? So, what all is involved in doing this? I need to buy two 98/99 hubs and then some 98/99 or equivalent discs right? What about caliper mounts and what not? Let me know. Also, if I do this swap... what is the best route to go for a big brake kit that isnt more than the car is worth.

why replace it to 98/99? just get 97 discs...
IMO..dont waste your money.. your not gonna gain anything significant out of changing to 98/99 discs.. cause my car stops hella slow and its a 98
as for getting bigger brakes.. you probably wanna look into prelude & legend parts

Stick with 97, not gonna gain much of anything IMO. And look for prelude rotors, but 3.0 rotors are just about the same size
