It's been done, and personally I like them. I'm trying to think of the member's name who had them. Was it vxcl who had them fellas?

I'll try to find you that pic when I get home from work. I think you'll like it if you're shopping around for those.

Edit: I just checked and it wasn't him. I'll dig some more when I get home though. Don't want to get in trouble at work.

I think I know who you're talking about and his name escapes me as well. I have the pic on my computer at home. It's a black one with eyelids, the sidemarkers and the 5zigen corpse rims, right?

Well in this particualr thread I think it was photochopped on. I can't really tell as my screen at work is darker than hell.

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...t=side+markers

But the member that I knew of had a black CL.

Yes, that was his name! Props to Klepto for finding it.

That's another CL I've been meaning to bump in the picture sub forum.

To the OP, are you liking what you see?

just scooped up a set and they should be here in a few days. All i needed to see was that pic. That looks so sexy (although i wouldn't leave them wires to the parking lights..just the blinkers) . Now we'll see when i can get the install done. I spend so much time fixing other peoples cars, i never feel like working on mine lol

anyway thanx guys, we'll see how it turns out

There aren't a lot of good options for our cars, but I'd do this over drilling my fenders

Well here's the pros and cons, sidemarker pro - shorter run to turn signals for wiring sidemarker con - have to drill fender.

M3 Mirror pro - Bolt up install - M3 Mirror Con - Have to modify brackets for install, have to run wires through doors then fenders

eh, they're okay. i like a clean fender more then one with the side markers. i was thinking of putting the VTEC stickers on my car (like the pic), but they only have DOHC stickers, and the 2.3 is SOHC, if i'm correct.

I was thinking about that to. I would put on the rear part of the side skirts like some Hondas. Looks pretty nice IMO. You could just get the dohc VTEC stickers and just cut off the dohc part. They have sohc VTEC stickers but like blackack said, I wouldn't brag about a sohc.. at least not nowadays.

Found a great thread with a guy's white CL with side markers while I was searching for the pic of that red CL with the interfooler.
https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ht=interfooler
Looks nice but more trubble than what it's worth imo.

IMO the whole sidemarker craze is pretty dead

but do it if you like it

and the only thing I'd put on our car as far as badging is debading the trunk and putting a gold 'v6' badge from an 8th gen accord on there...that's about it...the vtec stickers kinda take away from the midrange luxuriousness of our car in my opinion

here's some updated pics of my completed install. Me personally, i dig them. But i might paint the black plastic surround to match the car. Anyway, the pics are pretty crappyand the car is real dirty, but you get the point.
