9005 bulb conversion question

Hey you guys after reading how to do the 9005 bulb conversion here I have a question: What is an O ring? (sorri im new to all this) do i need to make a new one? how? or take it from the old 9006 bulb or what? thanx. O and also, what do you guys think would look more HID ish? Phillips Blue Vision 9005, or Syvannia Cool Blue 9005, with this low beam convesion. Thanx

the o ring is the rubber type ring on the bulb's base

the Sylvanias suck, i had them before i got the xenon filled bulbs. they are a bit brighter but still yellow as hell.
