Most likely they need to be amplified, buy a seperate amp for your door speakers. your HU does not have enough watts to power them, so they are underpowered.

I listened to them before i bought them and they sounded decent and if I adjust the sound for only one side it sounds good but with them both togeather they dont sound all that. They fit but barely they have a depth of 3"and the magnets. You can see it here.
Do you think these would fit? Or this? Which would you recomend?

if you have a stock bose system you need to bypass the amp, otherwise you're running the new speakers at 2 ohms when they're meant to be run at 4 ohms, they could blow soon..

Dude, those are coaxial speakers, your stock bose system can't power those. They are cheap walmart speakers, but coax demands more power regardless. I'd take those back, and buy some better speakers, or wait and upgrade your head unit first. If you're not amping them, you'll at least need a better head unit.

Nope, nothing says bose.

sony makes crap ass speakers and just really bad car audio stuff in general. I suggest you do your research of car audio brands/speakers/etc before you waste any more of your money. There was a thread not too long ago where a bunch of us suggested some brands that we all liked and thought that were good.

When you get a new sound system its hard to just buy one part, you kind of have to do it all at once. New speakers require amps, which require wiring, which require a new HU, etc, etc. You can buy each part and piece together your system little by little, but id suggest you wait till you have most everything to install it all at once

if you know what you want as far as brand and model, by listening to them in the stores, then check ebay and buy them there.. soo much cheaper, I'd suggest alpine type s if you're on a budget, for front and back speakers on ebay i think it'll be around $175. another tip, head unit first, then speakers. the new speakers will sound crappy if the head unit is still crappy, and the stocks sound a lot better with a new head unit.

Yeah, I went to best buy today and listen to an alpine system and it was nice (expicially the subs) it sounded deep and clear. I also like it because if I get the head unit I can hook my iPod to it using the connector.

Get some baffles. They're like 5-10 bucks and they give something for ur speakers to hit agianst. Check it out. They'll make ur speakers sound 5x better.

I have a 3.0 and I've been lookin into some of those Alpine type S. They're 4 ohm speakers but I heard they wouldn't drain the stock amp any more/less than the stockers. Is this true? If not what exactly would I need to do? Sry I dont know too much about it.

Allright I just got a job at Circuit City and now I get huge disconts espically on Kicker and Polk and Bose, what should I get out of those three? and what head unit should I get, I am leaning towards this one.

first buy any alpine on ebay that suits your needs, then from there-

i'd get all this stuff from circuit city, granted your getting a hookup.

Put a 6x5 in the back? will they have to drill the holes and will I have open space on the sides of it? how do I fill that in? Can I have Circuit City put them in?

How are these 6x9's and will the fit? What about these 6x5's for the door? These both have very high ratings on circuitcity.com.

Out of the brands you listed, I'd say Polk is the best. And those 6x5's you posted are coaxial, you DO NOT want coaxial

do the 6x9's fit right in our stock locations, cause if its not a tight seal it will sound like shiet even with a seperate amp. you need a tight seal between the cabin and trunk or your spreakers will have no bounce.
