5 lug conversion!
what do you guys think about a 5 lug conversion? a you guys know a 3.0cl is a 4 lug. i have been offered a nice 1000+ rims with tires for FREE but the only prob is that its a 5 lug. and i heard i can do a 5 lug conversion. i dont know how much i would cost. do you think it worth its worth spending money on the conversion or just sell them rims?

blah blah blah
You could do a 5 lug conversion. My brother did it to his friends Civic, cost them around 3 bills. He told me it was possible with our CLs too, but nobody tried it yet. What you do is get the hub (I think that's what's its called) and changed them out with ours. But you'll have to find one that fits our car thats a 5 lug.

Why would you need 5 lug to go w/ 18's?

IMHO.... five lug conversion on a 1st gen would be a waste of money.
You'd have to get the five lug hubs, and five lug brake rotors, not to mention other misc. parts. I dunno how much the parts will cost but I'd bet it's over $1k, maybe more. Then the labor to do all of it................. I say sell the rims and tires, there's alot of 18' wheels with the 4-lug pattern.
