300 hp?
300 hp?
I have just recieved my SkunkII intake manifold in the mail today. I will also be getting my downpipe made, soon. When everything is hooked up, I am going to take my CL to the dyno and hope that I break 300 whp.

well i hope you do well on the dyno my friend

I thought it was quite a reasonable question. You have an engine swap which isn't cheap, a turbo setup which isn't cheap either, and now a brand new intake manifold, yet your manifold appears to have patch welds on it. That just didnt seem to add up. I have used parts too, I'm not saying they arent good enough or wont work just fine, and I didnt mean any offense as I stated. In any case, good luck on the dyno.
he said 300 to the wheels so he is hoping to get 300 at the wheels so the question about how much of the 300 gets to the wheels... 300... and probably 400 at the crank.
looks good... now get some rims.

he is concerned because he has a turbo too and probably doesn't want to see you blow something by accident.

WOW, 300 horse is Radiculoso !!!! and about the cast iron manifold post that that member made. well, HELLO, for high HP engines im sure you know that having a cast manifold is better due to the metals tencile, and strength characteristics. PLus, speed doesnt have to look pretty, as long as you BEAT THE LIVING SHIT out of your oponent
Cast manifolds suck. Welded manifolds are way better. Who cares how ugly it is, as long as it works rite. Pretty silly comment comming from a guy that's running 10psi boost and still not putting down impressive track #'s. Maybe you could use a ugly welded manifold.
do you have d/r's, and if not how are you going to control the spin especially with the front wheel drive? That is unbelievable power for a 4 cyl, hope it doesnt shorten the life of your engine by too much. Good luck with the dyno, try and get some pics up, id like to see your engine n shit.

I just thought it was odd that everything else looked top notch except for the manifold, which is like the centerpiece of a turbo setup. I wasnt saying he shouldnt use it or it wouldnt work well. Ive seen a lot of manifolds like that on hondatech that were either home made or were of poor build quality and had to be repaired, and really i was wondering what the deal was. In hindsight I should have asked more directly what kind of mani. it was or not said anything.
