3.0 swap?

hey anyone know if a supercharger is a good idea for my 3.0?...yea im gunna get grilled for asking that...neways if the supercharger is a go....then i need a manual...does anyone know if/how to do a manual swap in a 3.0 if even possible? finally i was wondering if the 3.2 cl-s engine fits in our car? but the last option probably isnt ever going to happen because that engine + tranny prolly costs more than my car...newayz yea is there any way to do a cl-s tranny swap or something? neways...im probably just delisional but i have a local shop that i know is good and im thinkin bout givin them a long term project haha

The supercharger + install and the new tranny that you'll need is gonna cost as much as an engine swap. Can you afford the 4,000 s/c kit plus a transmission rebuild? Plus install and customization of the s/c to fit your engine bay. Cuz that's what you're lookin at on that side yo. As for the manual swap, it won't be easy, but people on the site we can't mention have done it. Our tranny mounts just don't line up.

The short block is the same size. The J32A2, J30A1 and the J35A4 all use the same casting for their short block (i forget what other engines are the same as well). The J32A2 head is what made the engine bigger in size. I believe it sits about 2 inches higher than usual with that head.

I used the Honda Odyssey short block from 2002, along with the CLS head and tranny.

Well man,, i had that idea in mind too,, you know the "big" V6 doesn't have that much room in there first of all, you'd probably have to do a lot and entire, to tweak the engine for preparation for a Supercharger...(it can be done),, but you're right a lot of projects,, pulling engine, opening Xmission, installing beefier parts inside, in order to handle the power of the engine, or "changing the xmission",, u no... on and alll it's all about what u really wanna do,, but a supercharger will definitely be a challenge,,, and can B done..... so good luck and do tell the stages,, i say ask as many ?'s as possible, write down a plan, what's priority first, and get it done you know,, just get it done,,, lol,,, good luck tho.... aiit...

Correct. I believe it only needs battery relocation and one other thing. But it was about $100 in modifications just to allow for the SC to fit. We've had 2 guys do it on our boards. But they've both moved on...
