How many of you all can spin tires on take off? I ask because I was on youtube looking at videos of accords and almost all the vids I looked at they could. I personally can't anymore and I don't know why it doesn't, haven't been able to in a long time. Any ideas?

i can do it with my snows on, but the 235's not so much.

I have an Accord,and i could only spin the tires once in a blue moon (was pretty much stock besides axle back & 3G TL wheels with 235 tires back then) but now that i have headers,CAI and fixed my side and rear motor mount;i can spin and peel out all day from a dead stop.

slap the snow tires on, i can spin mine like crazy!!!!!!!!! (also run through tires like no tomorrow) only with snows on, with the summer tire nothing. Even with my stock all season no spinning!

I can n I have 225/50/16's on mine. Will spin like crazy especially now that it's gettin cold outside

It can be done, but since I have brand new tires on my 18's, no tire spinning for me

Spinning prob isint the best thing to do with a trans made of glass

There's alot of factors to being able to spin them, from the tires and condition of the engine to the outside temperature and the temperature of your tires and the pavement. Like during the winter it's more feasible to do so because the engine runs better with colder oxygen and the pavement/tires aren't hot and sticky.

try driving a 3.0 after rain and trying to pull out onto route 46 in jersey or make a turn just a little too fast but in dry conditions, not really any spinning. maybe a small squeal

I have never tried to spin the tires on mine but I don't think it will. It picks up speed kind of quick but from a stop I doubt it will spin the tires by just punching it. My car is 100% stock as far as engine wise, it doesn't have a aftermarket sri or anything just factory air box. Its definitely not a race car but does fine for what it is. I baby the transmission on mine because I am scared of it shattering into a million pieces but if something was to happen mine would probably be the one to go out because I am so conscious about how crappy these transmissions are. I still need a few more parts to do the 6 speed swap (the major one missing is the trans itself) but if I ever get all the parts I may drive the car like I stole it but right now I would rather not get stranded on the side of the road if I can help it
