3.0 headers

are these headeres any good?will it fit the 3.0 cl since the accord V6 has basically the same engine? If they do work would they fit correctly and bends? and how much would it run me to install if they have to do custom fitting?

Headers

ssautochrome says that they're already bent for a perfect fit, but they're NOT, so you'll have to take it somehwere to have it bent, it'll take them like 5 seconds and they did it for free for me. they made a great difference too, i would never be able to burn rubber from a stop, but now i can
Also, before you install them, go out and get 6 stainless steel bolts/washers and LOCKING nuts, it will make the install so much easier. oh and you might need some liquid wrench rust penetrant and a propane torch to get the 3 bolts off the cat too

WD-40 works just fine

ssautochromes do fit without bending issues, i have them, along with wilp and a few others with no bending issues if it comes short slightly at the bottem end that attaches to the cat have a friend sit behind your car and use his leg to push the muffler back just a little bit it fits perfect.

note this is a 2 man job must...your gonna need someone to either tighten the nuts or hold the bolt straight and firm up top with a wrench / extension.

tools you will need

wrench / wrench extension / all sockets that fit / strong arms

this is why you should get locking nuts.

I tried WD-40 but it didnt work, it depends on how badly rusted the 3 bolts are, and the ssautochrome headers fit for me at first but i had to push the cat all the way to the driver side cause the studs and holes didnt line up, and then the cat was rattling SOO bad against the bottom of the car

go in with a hammer / metal pipe and just hammer the heat shield so theres no contact rattle gone

p.s. it aint my fault is you lie to your old lady and get your head whooped. just thought id get that out there.
