Woohoo, I got in a race today, lol. It was like 630 in the morning and i was driving my usual too fast speed to work. Well I passed this guy in a 4.0 Jeep Cherokee....and i guess he didnt like it, cause when we got to the stoplight, he pulled up next to me and as soon as the light turned green, all I heard was screeching tires. My instinct was to hammer down as well...and needless to say, eventhough he had a big jump on me, I still took him down by the next light . Nothing to be proud of, just thought id spout that out as it was a little interesting that damn early in the morning.

HaHa Nice... Those 4.0 Jeeps are torquey which makes their drivers think they are fast but they aren't. My 4.7L HO V8 Jeep Grand Cherokee now is another story

i raced my friends 4.0 jeep and won only by 1/2 car. but i was in my awd explorer 4.0. slowest race ever. we only went to like 80.. off the line i had him but thats cuse i got full time awd and his is just 4x4. my explorer actually keeps dead even with prescious until 30 or so then its buslengths.
