need opinions

hey guys,
ive had my 99 cl for about a year now and have been wanting to upgrade to a better car. ive been looking at gen 3 Rx7's and its been my dream to own one. i wanted to know if i should forget about the rx7 and keep at modding my cl. my plans this summer is to do an h22 swap and eventually turbo it a couple months after. will i be really satisfied with that outcome after all thats done or will i not compare to the rx7????

should i even spend the money on the swap and turbo or just wait out for the rx

heres a picture of my car i really like it but who knows

what do u guys think???

kumho ecsta and fno1rc.. mmmmmmmm

keep the car and mod it, thats wut i'd do... but do what you feel. i think an h22a and turbo is adequate for most people

If you can find an RX-7 I'd do it..Those suckers are sweet, my boy just got one and that sucker has so much f*in torque .. He has an 89 RX-7 GTU a 81 RX-7 with a monster turbo for the strip and now this 93 TT that is amazing..

it all depends on how much money you want to spend....if your looking for an RX7 and it has over 100k on the origonal motor....then plan to do a full rebuild fairly soon. The motors do not last much over 100k.

my friend has an rx7, i think it spends more time in the shop because of check engine lights than anything else

Early 80's model RX7s are the shit if you can find one in good condition... (old rotory engine gonna need a lot of TLC) The 3rd gen RX7s were very pretty, but FORD got its grubby little fingers into Mazda and all hell broke loose with reliability.

Your CL is very sweet, but why the Type-R emblems? That is a little , but overall, I think your whip is clean. Do the turbo, but get it tuned for the V-TEC. Good luck with what ever you decide.

sweet car man. imo h22 swap>rx7. Just a suggestion.. you should switch out your 99 grill for a 97 grill. Other than that fabulous car.

(ghey word choice huhh)
