First I would like to say hello to everyone in the CL community as I have just become a CL owner today. I just bought a '98 CL 2.3 5spd and I was wondering what the stock stats on this car are, like 0-60, BS like that. I was also wondering (because i havent had much time to look inside this car for i dont get to pick it up till this tuesday) does this car have heated seats? I think I have the premium package for it has leather seats but im just not sure exactly.

 

As for this forum the search button will quickly become your best friend as it has for me. You probably won't have heated seats i think it was optional on the 2.3 and much more common to see on the 3.0's. Congrats on the cl and i hope you find all your looking for... here

 

Welcome to the forum. All 98/99 2.3s have leather. I'm pretty sure heated seats are only on 3.0s. Carpoint rates the 2.3 5 speed 0-60 at 8.82 and the 1/4 mile at 16.85@84.8. Numbers will vary based on a number of conditions but I think these are about right. It costs a lot of money to make it fast.

I stand corrected. In any case, it is very rare not to have the premium package.

 

There was no premium package available for 1999s. They all had leather. Mine doesn't have heated seats, and I don't remember it being an option on the 2.3. I think they only came on 3.0s, like xrunner86x said.

 

hey for all 99 2.3's do they have the bose stereo? or not. I know people say if it saids bose on it, it has it and if not it doesn't but the 99's all are premium. Do does that mean bose when it doesn't say bose?

 

i think bose is a seperate package from premium

 

2.3's dont come with heated seats, only 3.0's
and i always wondered if i have a bose amp in my trunk
(i doubt it though)
