2.2 V2 Install Problem
Hi, I am a new member, but I have been watching for a while now. I was looking at an older install of a AEM V2 and it looked pretty easy. When I was installing my V2 I ran into a sensor that looks like it has coolant tubes running through it fron the engine. It is right behind the battery. I can't get the V2 in place with out removing it, but I am worried that it will mess up something. Does anyone know what this is and if it would be ok just to cut it out?
I have pics, but I can't upload them yet.
Thanks

You have to rip out the whole I.A.R. system. I connected the vaccume line you are left with to the second hole on the V2. Does anyone know if this is the purpose of the second hole on the V2 intake?

Should I attatch one end of the vaccume line to the second hole in the V2, or just cap both ends?

when i had the v1 i just capped it. well the cap fell off. when i got the v2 i hooked it into the 2nd hole in the v2. never noticed any gain or loss in power or any gain or loss in mpg.
