14 seconds without n20?
14 seconds without n20?
Ok I have added aem pulleys and a tuned VAFC since the last time I ran 15.9. If I run with my stock rims (which are lighter) use a higher octane, and reduce some weight, what do you think I will run? I was thinking maybe 15? But what else could I do to hit the 14's without nitrous? I dont have enough money for the comptech headers either. Any advice?

also, DO NOT RUN HIGHER OCTANE, it will just slow you down, honestly I tested this theory and all my quickest times were on 87. It's been proven that our motors lose a good amount of power on anything higher because the car isn't setup to burn the higher octane fast enough.
My fastest N/A time was 15.4 and that was w/ comptech headers which I no longer have and all my other mods. The run was at sea level and it was about 70 degrees.

Get a crank pulley...advance your timing <---then run higher octane....remove your intake...the TB makes more power without an intake/filter restricting it...get UR pulleys (i heard you cannot use the AEM in conjunction with the UR crank pulley), get the headers and run a straight pipe for the high end...get a stall converter for the tranny. Run copper plugs if you arent already...run a MSD ignition (if you get the right model, you can advance the timing there).

find out how to advance the timing and then come talk to us :P

To adance your timing, you need to go to a shop that has a timing gun. But because of our cars, you will not gain very much power from doing this. It also significantly reduces the reliability of your car depending on how much you advance it.
I dunno why i didnt think about this before but:
Shift Kit
Torque converter
These will freakin make my auto crazy! Where can i find them for our car or do the 98 v6 accords work? Nyone?

In every test Ive ever seen this done on power was lost when the aftermarket intake was removed. If you dont have an intake then try it.

You can not change the timing on a 3.0, you have to do it through the ECU.
Ok I have been looking into shift kits and torque converters and found that Venom makes a nice electric shift kit for our car and B&M makes some nice Torque converters.... a good idea?
