*pics* new mod: installed my prelude shifter

well, after much sweat, grease, and blood, i finally got the lude shifter in. Its much shorter (at least an inch) and the throws feel more "solid" and stiff. Ran into a couple problems, like the stupid metal bump stops, but thanks for a tip from d98clturbo, i just cut those mofos off. Enjoy the pics

stock height

look at this mess

stock vs prelude shifter, note the difference in height

new shifter installed

showing off two of my newest mods i finally figured out how to put music vids on my dvd player

im going to be doing a full write up and putting it up on my site later when i get more free time

i am starting slowly on my projector conversion, i will offer it on your website for 5 bucks each since it is a very hard mod to do and most dont want to touch it and if i can walk you through it most said they would pay 5 bucks for instructions like my wood grian removal, step by step with pics

yup, just the stock prelude shifter part, you'll also need a 6mm bolt and nut and a special metal roller thingie that makes shifter a bit smoother, not really needed, but recomended, i had to buy it from hondaautomotiveparts.com

haha no, the cool thing about the program is that i can put whatever picture i want as a background, so for the main menu i have a pic of my car

i saved myself some money by just cutting the shifter down and welding a bolt on to it. I used a hurst ball shift knob, so bolt i used was standard thread. i got the same results as he described above. A really solid shifter and i love it. I think total cost was like $1 without the knob of course.

Why dont you just use Nero to burn your stuff. It is only like the most powerful burning software out there...and get it thru BT.

I use nero to burn regular cds, with TMPEG, it encodes the .mpgs to video_ts folders that i then burn onto a dvd. I can also create menus and everything with thumbnails

did you not read my post? nero doesnt encode the mpgs into the format that i can burn onto the dvd. I cant just burn mpgs straight to the dvd via neros data mode because most dvd players dont recognize that. With the tmpeg program, it encodes and burns it all in one
