Global Unveiling 4.16.14
An "event" was created in the Acura facebook page...

A historical artefact.
PS. BYOT (Bring Your Own Tinting )

But then I think I just named the entire Acura color palette.
It'd be cool to see if they have that espresso or whatever brown interior color that was mentioned.

My speculation is that the NY show car will be BLACK.
Hey, I would not mind if we really get the Atheletic Red...!
Actually, it would be great to see what that Black Copper is all about - I suspect that it will be gorgeous with the brown interior :-)

My guess is that the reveal car will be black or basque red and there will be at least one black, one silver, and one red on hand at the show stand for people to crawl through.

Every time I see the interviews with Acura at the auto shows, I would just love it if they at least asked something about the beak.
Do you listen to customers when they mention the beak?
Is there any chance of a beakless model option?
Do you keep making a beak only model to reduce production demands for Acuras?

Ever since it was toned down in the '12 TL, I think it's become much more acceptable.
maybe this overdid it on purpose for '09 - '11 so when it was toned down, everyone was thankful and accepted it.

It'll be interesting to see how this car sells. I doubt people will dislike the so-called "beak". I think pretty much everyone's gotten over the battering ram of a grille they had on the '09. I've gotten to the point where I don't mind the grille now. Do I think it's great? Nope. But I don't dislike it - just wish it were better. And if sales of the ILX, MDX, and RDX are any indication, the grille ain't the deciding factor.

Oh god the drama ... why are you even here then? It's not going away any time soon. At least for the next generation of recently introduced models. Considering a 5-6 year production run, maybe you should check back in 2020 or 2021.

Its a happy day tomorrow. Lots of people worked their asses off (pardon my french) to make this happen. All beaks aside (lol), the TLX is a good effort in a dog eat dog market place. So lets give some credit to the boys and girls at Acura for making this happen.
(otherwise y'all be driving malibus now, yo)
