What's funny is that the guy was talking about the new direction for Acura etc. It was as if he was reading some words from off our forum. Sadly I really think they are empty words as always. Showing a mountain biker and heavy breathing with a heartbeat. Yeah I know the car has a Sport+ mode. But honestly all I can see when looking at that car is an ES350. I really think that was this car's target. And I don't think anyone would have said that looking at the prototype. This is just a "me too!" car.
The spy shots and Corey's post were 100% spot on. I'm glad I didn't have my hopes up. Not a bad car overall though. Interior looks nice, predictable. It does have some potential. This car will sell.
I will drive it to finalize my decision but so far I say "nay". There are just better options out there.

I am absolutely APPALLED by the visible exhaust pipes from the rear. I mean like... what in the actual F&*K are they thinking?
I am shocked at how boring this car looks. Almost makes my 2010 4G TL look futuristic.

Funny...looking at the comments on Acura's fb page, everyone there is clamoring for more and saying the same things we've been saying.
"Under 300 hp?" "Bring back the Type S!" "Guess I'm switching to Audi/Lexus...etc"

I like it. It looks like a 2g TSX from the side. It reminds me of bmw from the rear. The front is nice with still some extra chrome and the jewel eye headlights.
The technology is much more advanced in this car than the 4G. I'm looking forward to driving it to feel how it performs.

I mean the front bumper still has the canards from the concept, they are just toned down. The rear is pretty standard stuff, and the side skirts as well. The aggressiveness of the prototype is lost . The interior is a home run though, so i will give them that. I dunno, i'm still considering the car but the new A3 looks much more appealing to me. Maybe Acura will put out an A-spec kit later...

Yeah I cannot believe they actually did that with the exhaust.. maybe the v6 will be different?

The exterior looks fine (a little less than sporty but fine). Still hate the beak.
Would love a better (more direct from center) view of the console interior. I'd like to know what the entire dash & nav/gps/display looks like.

nothing special imo. the high tech sh-awd system they taunting about i seriously doubt anyone would notice any difference between that and the outgoing version. they better price this well in order to sell. IS350 F Sport is way a better buy than the TLX V6 sh-awd if both command $45k
when compared TLX with IS 350 f sports with similar price, TLX has more techs, Sh-Awd system, bigger space inside. I dont see any problem.
No one has test drive new TLX yet but its 260+ pounds lighter, smaller body, 15% more torque, new 9 speed transmission and etc, people will notice difference in terms of performance.
am I wrong? lol

No air volume adjusters on the centre vents (like tsx has). No biggie but why is this feature deleted on North American made cars? My primary front passenger invariably closes them.

I like what I'm seeing actually, particularly the trim that comes with the 10-spoke wheels. That one seems to come with fog lights also. Inside it also looks very nice.

Thanks for posting the pics. The car looks nice and that interior looks even better. Not sure where all of the disappointment is coming from; it's not like they DON'T tone down all prototypes for production.

I predict a MMC rather soon. This car is a giant let down. They had every opportunity to hit this out of the park and they struck out.

Agreed, Although I like it better than the 4G
- wasn't a fan of the fog lights. (LED's in that lower grill would have been a much better option) - as in the prototype
- Wish they had kept Sport+ for an MMC Type-S model
- Hoping they'll make an A-spec model trim (even aesthetically)
For the most part, not a bad looking car. It looks like what the 4G SHOULD have been as a natural evolution of the 3G.

I personally think those wheels look awesome. Interior looks sharp too. I love the front end but the unfinished exposed exhaust not so much. Overall, it should sell very well. I'm looking forward to a "performance" version of the TLX in a couple of years. Hopefully they will offer it in 6MT. I will be all over it. If not, I'd consider the 9 speed slushbox or move on to an Audi.

They'll sell every sinlge one they make provided it's priced right. The styling is inoffensive, but so is the A4 and 3 series.
I see no glaring issues with this car.

maybe someone in the aftermarket will come up with a nice LED strip like what was on the concept. If there are any issues, its the lack of that cool look LED strip like was shown on the prototype. Other than that, the car actually looks pretty nice. Pricing could be a concern though...

Not bad with the bigger rims on the SH, more in proportion, curious to see what rims are available on what trims. Like the blue. Don't like wood at least that look personally but interior and additional refinements should give the car a more substantial luxury feel and perception.
Not like they were going to give us 330 hp or something and I will wait for a few acceleration tests for full judgement on that but the SH should have received the 310 or at least 300 for marketing, keep going back to this I know and I don't know if they are serious buyers or not but people are nuts about this, whatever the difference it may have actually made or not, whatever that's worth.
As for the more technical stuff, it looks like DWB is gone and they gave it struts like the Accord, not necessarily good or bad, wait to see how it rides and handles. SH is now hydraulic, they talk about less friction and it being quicker and all the other new stuff which is great but I hope they have not done away with actual electric + mechanical vectoring and relying on brakes. Likewise, still depends on how it ultimately tests out but hoping it still achieves some rear bias, the fact that the rear is now more overdriven than before is great as long as they didn't scale back elsewhere. Hybrid SH is less rear biased but compensates with enhanced vectoring so my fear stems from them maybe trying to mimic that.
