sure thing.

the resin badges are awesome and last a long time. I had some on my exterior of my Jeep for about 2.5 years and they looked as good as new.

I'm into EXTREME DEBADGING so the replacements work wonders LOL

would love to see pics when you get them/

been a while.......

i was not happy with the LED DRL bulbs that come with the JLC kit. they were ONLY forward firing and in a good sunlight almost impossible to see.

so I found some on eBay from iJDMTOYS that have a forward firing LED as well as some surface ones to hit the reflector.

i am also working on getting full power to these as DRLs so they will be even brighter ! stay tuned for that.

a few other things purchased .....

Progress RSB - arrived
Progress RSL - shipped
Energy Suspension 22mm greasable sway bush shipped

4 TPMS are here if I ever buy some wheels.

pics of the LEDs

the bulb

you can see these light up the reflector......

closer...you can see the reflection of the SMT

oh yeah

saw these at cars and coffee.....

Looks great. I too just picked up a glm wagon for the wife. I still need to do the clear bra and get some weather techs.

I bought these cause first set from Stefan.zang (sp) on eBay didn't fit plus
I figure iJDMTOYS will warranty if issues.

These same bulbs are 49.99 @ iJDMTOYS website

next big mod should be the Progress RSB.

I have the bar in hand/ you shud know what it look like

I added some greasable ES Bushings as I know my last sway with POLY BUSHINGS squealed like a pig every year for grease.

here they are next to Progress. holes line up, perfect match.
part number in pic.

the Progress Sway Links are BO. they said about 2 weeks from last Friday X

last mod for now:

I was able to get my Tweety to fit on the washer fluid tank. a little filing of the lip and VIOLA

there is a set screw holding it on too.

its a long story but its a tribute to my Pops.......passed back in 1990. i bought it for my Jeep and saved it when i unmodded.

FINALLY got a shipped notice from Throwdown on the rear links.
So stay tuned for the Progress Bar and Link install.

Made my first trip to the Stealer today. I can say I am very disappointed. I really thought it would be different at the Acura dealer vs. Jeep.

I make an appt to drop it off for 3 things:

1. SOftware update; something to do with the CD and ahrd drive. I recieved a letter about it.
2. THe A/C has a SMELL to it. Its worse when the recirc is on.
3. Steering wheel vibration; 65+ gets so bad at 80 it vibrates the key.

Results:

1. Software updated.
2. Cant find anything. Gave me some speech about leaving recirc on which i never do. Sparyed some air freshner crap in the duct.
3. Drove car, key doesnt vibrate. "I drove it, key never vibrated".

I expected better. My bad/

The smell is not car related but is related to moisture turning musty in high humidity.

The stuff they sprayed in there kills the bacteria growing in there and foxes it for awhile. If it doesn't fix it, then check the cabin air filter since that may have crud growing on it too.

yeah. the jeep had a tsb. here is what THEY said......it was the same odor.

the TSB

_________________________
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Some vehicle operators may experience a musty odor from the A/C system, primarily at
start up in hot and humid climates. This odor may be the result of microbial growth on the
cooling coil. During normal A/C system operation, condensation forms in and around the
A/C cooling coil. When airborne pollutants mix with this condensation, bacteria and fungi
growth begins and odor results.

can't you just run the heat on high w/ the AC 'on' to prevent moisture microbial buildup?

The most commonly recommended method is to turn the AC off a few minutes before you shut the engine down.

Parking in a garage usually helps as well.

Meh. Its not humid where I live and the car is garaged. I'm hoping it doesn't develop 'the smell'. Needless to say, I'll be keeping it on fresh mode to be on the safe side. Happy 4rth folks!

I finally got my DRLs where I want them.

I was on vleds and saw the had a DRL module that made e 3.5v to 12. So I bought some and sure enough I now have 12 v to my LED DRLs.

I added these in at the bulbs so I didn't mess with my resistors....just left them where they were.

i added these modules : http://www.v-leds.com/Daytime-Runnin...-p6297704.html

they make the 3.5v into 12v so you get the full lighting of the LEDs.

this is a side by side BUT I turned the exposure all the way down

a daylight pic but i needed to stoop lower to look dorectly into the lights....

Hey Guys/girls,

New to the Forum and kind of torn between the TSX sport Wagon and an RDX. I need the room for my two Greyhounds.

Robpp, your TSX looks awesome. The tint makes a huge difference.

Speed2000, sorry to hear about your Maggie. It must be a tough hit losing her. I know it would be tough losing either of my two. BTW, a close friend of mine lives in Woodstock GA, on Lovinggood if you know where that is?

My question here is to ask if someone can do me a big favor? Any chance someone could measure three things for me with the TSX sport wagon?
1)Width of cargo area at the hatch
2)Length of cargo area from the hatch to the back of the FRONT seats, meaning with the rear seats down.
3)Narrowest width in the cargo area with rear seats folded down.

Thanks so much. If the measurements are good then I'd rather get the TSX sport wagon over the RDX.

Considering the same two cars - leaning toward the SW. Like the handling, mpg and looks. The fact that you can get it for under invoice also helps. Looks like about a 6k price difference.

The only thing I don't like is the lack of a spare tire.

Looked like there's a little more room in the RDX - not a lot.

A lot more headroom in the RDX though.

finally installed Progress RSB with ES greasable bushings.

some pics:

you need to make the holes a bit larger and add some plates:

be sure to use the proper grease....whether a greasable or non mount....at install it needs grease. proper grease for any POLY BUSHING is the clear/white STICKY grease, same as they provide with bar.

i have some in this gun from my Jeep. it needed grease 2-43 times a year.

installed and greased:

oh and here is the link kit....its missing parts. I waited like 60 days and ITS MISSING PARTS.......

LOL I forgot that part to myself

I only went out for about a 20 mile drive but I did do a few good turns and the main difference is the rear stayed planted. on a good left hander with 30 MPH signs I usually get a squal and wiggle from the rear to show me the limit.....but this time it stayed put at about 60. less understeer since the rear didnt give out.

hope that makes sense. it was worth the 150 + 30 I spent.

looking at it......the links are like toothpicks.....so I think the Progress Rear Links....if I can ever install them will make it 'even mo' better'

oh yeah......i bought everything at ThrowDown. they had the best SHIPPED prices by a ton. of course shop around when your ready but DO check them out.
