Type-S WDP Ebony 6MT, mugen-k's updates
I recently became the fortunate owner of an '07 TL Type-S in WDP with Ebony/Silver interior and a 6spd MT, my ideal combo.
The mods will be relatively light and basic as this will primarily be my daily and I already have another project car. However since that project is on hold for the time being the Type-S will be keeping me busy (and my bank account empty) in the meantime.

Few more:
Some mods done so far:
Tein S-tech springs:
Absolutely love the subtle drop over stock and the ride is great too. Not too high, not too low and perfect imo...for these wheels anyway
Tint, 35% front 15% rear
First time owning a car with tint. Must say I've been missing out.
One of a few parts I bought even before I got the car,
DICE Mediabridge:
Had the car in pieces the night I got it to install this thing. Half way through I was like "what have I done" but it all came back together alright and everything works great.
Bluetooth a2dp streaming is a must have for me in all my cars. Ideal for short trips where I can just leave my phone in my pocket but still control it through steering wheel and dash controls. Though the Mediabridge has added text display and speech functions I've never had before so that's a plus.
Here are a couple of the parts I've been collecting in preperation for my NAVTOOL install:
Pretty much have everything I need just waiting for a good time to tear everything apart. Mainly to use my iPhone with to display video and as a screen for my Macbook on longer trips.
OEM all weather floor mats including trunk mat:
Ordered these before receiving the car as well. Another must have for winter even though it's almost over. However they do their job with any precipitation not just snow so it was still worth getting them. Plus it's nice throwing a wet wash mitt or towel on the mats when you're at the carwash to get it home to dry.
Next winter I'll get the weathertechs like I wanted (found a great deal online for them too) but I got these first since it came with the trunk mat which weather tech doesn't make (for navi equipped cars anyway).
Acura 2012 White Navigation Disc:
LED interior dome lights
The license plate and reverse lights are done as well
I have a pair of supercomputers pedals for MT:
Not sure if I'm going to install/use them though. Might be for sale if I don't.
More things to come and some already on their way

You've got some serious will power to hold out for what you want. I looked every day for 3 months and only found 1 6MT in PA but the seller wouldn't budge on price so I settled for the S I have now. I wanted either KBP or MRP 6MT, Ebony.

And if you told me I must say I'd have to agree
But just to give you and idea of my "taste" here's a quick pic of my other car I've been modding for the past 8+years
and that was from '09. Since then its be rebuilt since I wasn't happy with it.

Haha Thanks
And if you told me I must say I'd have to agree
Oh definitely. That's the last thing I would ever do. I spent too much time finding it to just "ruin" it. A majority of my plans for it are light and nothing irreversible for the most part.

I head down to your area in RI (riverside and also fall river, MA) on occasion as well.
Well I could of but I would have just regretted it.
It seems to be a trend for sure. Every time I saw a thread for a newly owned WDP in the past month or so made me so much more eager to finally get mine haha.

Thanks everyone. I'm absolutely in love with this thing and can't get enough of it. I used to like my 8-10min commute to work cause i could sleep in later, save on gas, get home early etc etc but now I wish it was longer! Plus I can't sleep in since I'm excited about driving the TL lol.
Finding a 6spd was a mission and a half and so hard to be patient when plenty of perfectly fine (not to mention cheaper) cars with the same combo in AT begging to be purchased. But I listened to everyone that said I'd regret it and just want MT anyway so I held out.
Right now after only a few days of ownership I couldn't imagine if I had gone with AT instead. Has the fun of my del sol but 10 times more comfortable and refined. Truly the best of both worlds.

Congrats Welcome to AZ! Check out the 3G garage for tons of info. Also register your TL at www.myacura.com in the USA or https://www.myacura.acura.ca/ in Canada. Save your Navi and Radio codes there. Check for any recalls your TL may need.

So I went to lunch with a few coworkers yesterday and of course I offered to drive (wasn't going to pass up the opporunity to show it off for the first time lol) and it definitlely fit four comfortably. Much better than the TSX I had for a week which I heard nothing but complaints about from the back.
One of my bosses saw it and did not believe me when I told him it was a 5 year old car. He swore it looked brand new. I guess spending a majority of this weekend detailing it paid off lol.
Figures it starts to snow as soon as I finally get to drive the TL while there hasn't been any these past couple of weeks. Oh well I don't mind cleaning it repeatedly so not a big deal. It's a good thing I already bought all weather floor mats before I even go the car and I have a set of weathertechs on their way.
The summer tires in this weather aren't as bad as I thought they would be and having MT to better control wheel speed definitely helps. VSA does the job as well.
Anyway just thought I'd share some of my experiences with the car I've had so far. I'm definitely pleased with it there's no doubt about that.
Here's another pic I took this weekend:
Eventually I was looking to possibly start a build/update thread. From what I've seen so far the photography section is the right place for that?

Yes a blast. The anticipation of imaginging what it would be like to finally have one has added to the enjoyment I think.
They were all fairly impressed and had good things to say.
I had been hyping this thing up to one of them for the past couple of weeks so I think he finally got to see what all the fuss was about.
