Parking brake shoes need replacing
Recently, I've noticed that on any incline or decline, my e-brake does not hold the car in place when I engage it. Even if I have the handle fully engaged to the lock point, my car slides. So I HAVE to leave the car in gear when I park, at all times. I want to fix this.
There was another member who replaced the e-brake pads, but I don't remember who it was, or which thread (I searched).
Can anyone provide a schematic, part # for the e-brake drum pads, and a DIY? Any/all of these would be appreciated.

Over 13,000 posts and you didn't look in the 3G Garage?
There are at least 10 different threads there for rear brakes/pads...
It may not be your pads. It may just be the cable that needs adjusting. This procedure is also in the Garage

It's possible that you only need to have your parking brake cable adjusted. That happened on my other car... e-brake fully engaged, but not holding car... Adjusted parking brake cables, and now it works like it was brand new...

WIth that being said, I've only ever had to adjust the cables on cars that had rear discs with the cute little parking drums... Although I suppose the parking drum could auto-adjust the same way, but I never engage the ebrake while moving, so I don't know...
But even then, the adjustment, is the distance from shoes to drum... Your cables could still be stretched, and need to be adjusted to take up the slack...

I only heard of self-adjusting drums, when your actual rear brakes are drums, because they adjust when you press the brake while rolling backwards.

i dont park on many hills but i got in the habit of using the ebrake on my last car when my auto trans went out...kinda paranoid and would rather wear that out instead of always making the trans hold me. not a big fan of it in this car though, never seems to do a great job...but, i have never done the adjustment. remember reading something about it in the service manual but didnt see anything about changing a pad, just adjusting it if it didnt hold hold after a certain number of "clicks".

If they look good I would just adjust both sides. I hope you get it worked out , otherwise let the next guy deal with it..

There a thread started by mmade that has the scans for e-brake adjustment. It was the thread were he parked at a rest stop and his car rolled across the parking lot. I'll try to find it.

I adjusted my parking brake to where it'll only go 8 clicks, and my car still slides when I apply the e-brake on either a decline or incline. The Acura allotted number of clicks for the e-brake is between 6-10 clicks.
I think I'm stuck trying to replace the rear drum shoes.

Did you try the major adjustment procedure? I find it hard to believe that parking brake shoes are worn to the point of needing replacement, but they could be. The only way to know for sure is to pull the drum and look at the shoes. If the shoes look OK, then doing the major adjustment, followed by the minor adjustment should solve your issue.

Kind of hard to see the sprocket because it is behind the spring, but it's there. With a flashlight and a regular screw driver, you should be able to reach it.

Well, it turns out that I indeed did need new parking brake shoes.
Here's the back story: On about 3 separate occasions, I performed the "minor adjustment", without doing the "major adjustment" at all. As a result, what happened was that the parking brake shoes were pressed up against the rotor so much , that even when I disengaged the parking brake, it was still rubbing . This, after a while, wore out my parking brake shoes, and also put a nice glaze on the inside of the rear rotors as well. On to the pics:
Here's what the inside of the rear rotors looked like: (The other side was worse)
Here's a pic of the new brake shoes:
Here's a close-up of a new brake shoe: (Note the pad thickness, not very thick at all)
Here's some pics of the old shoes still on the hub:
Here's a comparison pic of the new shoe (top) and old shoe (bottom):

All in all, it was too much work just for the darn parking brake. But, I'm glad I have it functioning, now. I've learned my lesson...no more messing with the parking brake.

Yes, you do have to adjust it. Look at letter "D" in post #27. This is the adjustment that is necessary. You'll also need to do the minor adjustment, and the way to get to that is to take the center console apart. You can get to the adjusting nut through the center storage console, but it's easier to adjust by taking apart the center console, pulling the center console storage unit back, taking out the cupholders, and adjusting from there.
