RV6 V3 Long Tube J-Pipe Release '04-'08 TL all trims **UPDATE PAGE 4**
Introducing the RV6 V3 long tube J-pipe. This design is the result of months of hard work and testing. Four hours of dyno time was spent testing everything from piping sizes to tube length in order to tune this J-pipe for maximum gains. Over 10 revisions were made to the initial prototype in order to equalize runner length and most importantly maximize ground clearance. By tucking one pipe behind another we were able to do this with minimal cutting to the splash guard. (might not have to be cut) By completely removing the 3rd cat runner length was increased in order to take advantage of exhaust gas scavenging.
Dyno tests were performed on an unmodified 05 automatic base TL with 55k miles using a AWD Mustang dyno. We choose this vehicle because it is most common among the community. Higher gains are to be expected with the manual base and TL-s.

The introduction pricing for the V3 J-pipe will be set at $450 plus shipping. This J-pipe is much more complex to build and requires about twice the material then the earlier models. By reducing the number of flanges we are able to offer this J-pipe cheaper than any other J-pipe and race pipe combo.
Features:
2.25" Primaries
2.5" Outlet
Mandrel bends
TIG welding
Stainless 304 Piping and flanges
The J-pipe will be available around May 1st. I may get them a little before hand but I do not want to disappoint anyone.
I am taking preorders now.

The V1 and V2 were originally designed for the Accord. I do not have any numbers for the TL. On a Accord with intake and exhaust the V1 gained 7whp and 5wtq. The V3 was design specifically for the TL, fitment still has to be confirmed for the Accord.

Ok, I have been waiting to purchase a jpipe for this. And it appears that was a very wise decision The only questions I have are...
1) For the novice, what does removing the 3rd cat do? Sound/Sensors?
2) What about emissions?
Thanks! I'll be putting my order is asap!

Don't know if I read properly but this removes the 3rd cat??
If so...
Would it be benificial to get the V3 JPipe and sell the Race Pipe I already have or... by a V2 JPipe?

^So no codes will be thrown, no sensors 'tricked', correct?
And removing the cat has to affect the sound. I would assume a v2 with a race pipe would sound similar to this?

LMFAO first one to respond
means it's time to trade in your V2 already (like 2 months old lol) for the new version to go along with those other mods coming
and richie why can't you make something like this for us 2G'ers (even if it went along with the comptech headers or something, and replaced it's J-pipe)
btw i think also you should just never really actually combine the two banks, and just run true duals all the way back (since you got no O2 sensors to worry about picking up anything downstream)

But, my other question still remains; Would it be benificial to get the V3 and sell off my [ATLP] racepipe? Or would it be better to get the V2?

2. There are no sensors at the 3rd cat the car will never notice it is gone.

All motor
Looks great!
Primaries are long as fcuk lol.
I just wanna make this clear for everyone else.....this dyno was done on an AUTO UNMODIFIED TL. The ATLP and XLR8 were done on 6 speeds with at least an aftermarket exhaust. 13whp on a STOCK AUTO means more like 16-17 on a 6 speed, and prob 10-12wtq. With exhaust, who knows....great work Richie!
I'm still deciding because I am going with a 3" exhaust and may just go custom since I want to use a 3" collector from the Jpipe. But I'm not sure yet! Great work!
