Clock Light out on 2001 CL Type-S
Anyone have this problem? Did you have to replace the whole clock or can you just replace the light?
Does anyone have instructions on what needs to be removed to get to the clock?
Thanks

there's a bulb behind it that needs to be replaced. The bezel around the gauge cluster needs to be removed (i think its 4 screws). Keep the steering wheel tilt all the way down for easier access. Little bulb at the dealer is like 2-3 bucks.

I bought the bulb from the dealer ($3.75). I found the 2 screws at the top of the bezel, but there seems to be a number of clips holding the bezel which are holding the bezel tightly.
I went back to the dealer and they wanted $63 labor to change the bulb. I don't think it's worth possibly cracking the bezel to get the light on the clock working.
Any ideas on how easy it is go get this bezel out with minimizing the chance of cracking it?
Thanks

Its actually not that hard getting the whole bezel out of there. It'll take some work and maneuvering but you should be able to get it out. Don't pay the dealer 60+ bucks for something like this lol. The clips you're talking about are just plain tabs and pop in and out really easily. Everything in our cars is pushed together
Also, check your other bulbs and note if any other ones are burnt out (AC buttons, select and reset buttons for trip meter, etc) and replace those too while you've got everything apart. Good luck!
