I have a 04' MDX in my shop that will not take the code that is on the anti-theft sticker in the vehicle. I have called the dealer who gave me a different number and that doesn't work either. I have also completely disconnected the unit and the battery as instructed by the dealer to possibly reset it. Nothing has worked. Anyone got any idea's? This may sound stupid but is there some "master" code or something to get it working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.


p.s. Does it matter if I have just the valet key?

 

On my TL, I had to disconnect the antenna from the back of the radio before it would accept the code.

 

Thanks man I will give a shot in the morning, the dealer gave me the typical pay me diag to look into. . . .even though I have sent them quite a few people from my shop ro buy cars.

 

If that doesn't work, you can try entering the data in this link. If the nav unit had been replaced, then the dealer may not know about it.
