It just stays on the screen where you press to put the code in. When I put the code in. It’s says wrong code. This is the code the dealer gave me for the nav system. Can someone help me please.

When your MDX Navigation wants a code, the 7" screen will show a picture of a circular dial.
You will find the largest knob that you've ever seen, just to the right of the gear shift lever. Turn the dial, until the first number of your code is highlighted on the 7" screen, then press the center of the really large dial.
The navigation code will be 4 digits. As soon as you enter the 4th digit (if the number is correct) you will see a message saying that it is seeking satellite coverage. If you're in garage you'll need to move the MDX to your driveway.

OP has a 03 MDX 1st gen, not the 2nd gen with the rotary dial!

The code that the dealer either is incorrect or they may have reversed a digit. The dealer will get the serial number off the DVD drive under the seat and pull up the code that way. They may want to charge you for this so you can look on youtube and see if you can pull it up. First call the dealer and verify that the code you have is right! To my knowledge, acura has a seperate RADIO code (1-6 buttons on radio used to type in) and then a separate code for the NAVIGATION that is typed on screen (digits 0-9)

The unit could have been replaced in the past and the new serial number of the dvd drive not updated in their systems. Code depends on the serial number of the drive.

Just plain water and wipe it with a clean & soft cotton cloth or a microfiber towel.

If its still bad then would be better to just buy the latest map.

I guess you will only find out once your Headunit starts working?
