Lost door lock rod while replacing handle

I was trying replace the broken door handle rear left. There is a thin rod that goes from Actuator to the door handle. While removing the top end from door handle it came off and fell into the bottom off the door panel(magically). There is thin space and it slip through this. I know there is no way to remove this unless I use some powerful magnets..

I don't know what it is called and how can I buy this part? Can anyone help please?

my vehicle is 2007 Acura MDX with tech entertainment pkg.

thank you!

This rod is not sold separately. It only comes with the door latch assembly.
P/N 72650-STX-A13, Latch Assembly, Left Rear Door.
P/N 72610-STX-A13, Latch Assembly, Right Rear Door.
About $65 +S/H/T each. Or check out your local junkyard for cheap.

Personally, I'd dig it out of the door panel by any means.

Can't you remove the door moulding and get at it?
