A couple things perplex me on this thing, one is dissapointing, the other is just nitpicking.

On the 2010 Mazda CX-9 (and many other vehicles), when you connect your phone to play music via bluetooth, it displays track title and other info on the screen. Does not appear to be the case with the MDX. You get NADA. I'm quite surprised but I suppose maybe Honda doesn't have a reputation for being cutting edge on the electronic/audio technology features.

I see you can plug a USB in and navigate by folders. However, the playlists I have on my Nexus 5 phone, I have like "Top Rated - All Genres", "All Pop", "All 80's" - you get the drift. I've sliced and diced my music collection into multiple overlapping playlists. Seeing it appears this MDX doesn't support playlists, it seems the closes you could get (other than using your phone) is to make folders for all your playlists and just end up duplicating tracks in some of the folders (possible using a large USB, like 16GB). So then I guess you would have better display info, and pseudo-playlist functionality (just not very efficient use of storage.)

I also find it odd that on the small info display there is not combination of settings where you can see the temp and the trip computer at the same time.

yeah this really bugs me too. wish it had temp, trip computer on the same screen.

Completely agree -- we've had our X for a few weeks and not being able to see the temp is annoying
