How do you remove foglight housing without removing the bumper on a 05 mdx?
Like the title says. Want to install HID lights for my foglight a but I don't want to remove the whole bumper to do so. I saw a video on YouTube and a guy did it for his 02 (I think) mdx and his way didn't work for my car. Anyone else know how I can do it?

I just got done with removing & replacing a Fog/DRL light on my 08 MDX.
If yours is anything like mine, to install HID fogs, it will much easier to remove the bumper cover. That way you have a nice clear shot at everything.
Without removing the cover, one might be able to loosen some of the wheel well & underplate plastic and get your hand in there to change a bulb, but that's about it.
Removing the bumper cover is only pulling some plastic pins and a few 10mm bolts.

a lot of people think it's very difficult to remove the bumper cover but honetsly, just remove the whole thing. it's harder NOT removing it.

I installed the Fog HIDs in my 2G without removing the bumper..
It wasn't that hard to be honest, It would have been harder if I had to remove the bumper because of the added work involved.

I remove it already for a dumb LED Running light that came apart inside the DRL/Fog housing (Yes it was one of those cheapo 20 bucks LEDs) and I had to remove the bumper in order to flush the part out of the housing... Its not hard by any means but If it can be done without removing it then I am all in.
I was going to remove the bumper to do the ATF COOLER DIY but it made no sense once I removed the grille, Room was enough no need to further complicate the job.
