Help with MDX interior color choice?

I am planning on a purchase of an 11 MDX within a week. What do you think is best interior color for not showing dirt?

My initial thought is black interior is a bad choice for 2 kids (7 and 5) who would be in the car on an almost daily basis. Does'nt the black show everything?

Please let me know if there an interior color choice that would work out the best.

Thanks.

Hands down 'Parchment' is an awesome interior color imo!

Yes but does'nt Parchment get black marks on it real easily from shoes, boots, etc.

Would'nt those marks be difficult to clean? Especially in the winter...

black...all the light colored interiors will show everything. get the all weather floor mats that catch everything and you'll save the carpet.

i have a black interior in my MDX...the prior owner was a mom with two youngens in seats...trust me it looked like they beat the hell out of center console....a little clean up and detail spray....all good now

my brother has parchment (i believe) in his MDX. and the dirt from the his dogs and whatever else he hauls has marked up parts of his interior. which are now permanent reminders. now black paint on the other hand...shows everything.

Good point. I am thinking that parchment would be a disaster with my kids and their friends in the car.

So if I go with black interior, what exterior color should I go with for the MDX?

what do you like? black is nice, but a pain to keep nice and clean. i believe black is offered only on the grigio, palladium, black, and possibly the dark cherry. you'd have to go and build one off the acura website.

white with black is always a nice combo, but can onlybe had through special order. i like classic colors, grays/silvers/whites. white hides dirt and rain spots well. swirls in the sun come out though. silver (palladium) hides a bit of everything, salt, rainspots, dirt. gray is a nice color, but can show dirt, rain and salt (i have two gray cars...with black interiors). silver also hides scratches a little better. while i love black exteriors, i dont' love the maintenance assocaited with them. i'm OCD enough with the gray.

Definitely the black interior. It is also the most "durable" per se (easiest to restore). In respect to exterior colors, white and silver are the ones that don't show dirt, scratches, etc. nearly as much.

I'm a fan of the Blk on Blk, but my wife hates Blk interiors cause she says it's too hot during the summer.. I have a white Lexus with cream interior which I grown to love since I'm the only driver, (my car is very clean)

This MDX we are about to purchase is going to be her car.. She loves white but unfortunately Acura is not making white cars anymore.. I convinced her to get Blk which she did, but only if the interior is light.. So we are going to get the Blk with parchment interior.. I think it looks nice..

What do u guys think? Is the parchment interior better looking then the toupe interior, if the car is Blk outside
