Front Driver Wheel - feels wobbly?
Hi everyone. Got a 2010 MDX w/tech 18" wheels, 74K on the odo. I'm feeling a slight wobble/vibration in the front driver wheel over 50mph, and it sounds like something is bouncing around in the wheel when braking from speeds above 30mph - when crawling or slowing from slower speeds I don't notice it as much.
Just brought it to the local NTB, and they said it was out of alignment, so had that done, but the problem persists. They said everything else checked out, but being an Acura I'm sure there's some trick to something they missed or don't know about. Any suggestions on what it could be? They balanced and aligned the wheels. Said the brakes were fine (rotors and pads are brand new, less than 10K miles on them).
The Acura dealer is an hour away so if I can't figure it out my next stop is the local Honda dealer to see what they think. Thanks

And I agree that its probably a bent wheel, unevenly worn tire.
OP, is it only when in Drive at 50mph or braking as well. I know that warped rotors can create a wobble sensation but only when braking. My MDX has vibration/wobble in steering wheel not the whole suv together.
Dealer told me it was warped rotors which I believe since my 3G TL had the same issue.

Thanks for the replies. NTB is a chain of shops, think it stands for National Tire & Battery. I've used our local shop a few times over the years and never had a bad experience. They've always appeared knowledgeable and fixed my issues. Since I feel the vibration/wobble while cruising and not just when braking it leads me to believe the problem isn't the brakes. I'm visiting a good friend this afternoon that's going to take a look, he's been working on cars for a long time - if he's stumped next stop Honda dealer 10 miles away
