Feedback on potential purchase!

Okay, so I found a couple of X' i like but since my budget is 30g's down most of the X's have high mileage. Looking into '07 primarily since tht was the redesign and my personal preference.

Question: If an X has a mileage between 40k-50k, is it even worth getting one. i thnk thts quite a bit of miles? Will I see any complications(e.g. electronics, noises, etc) since the manufacturer warranty will expire soon on most Acura CPO's?

A problem is tht I found one wit navi/ent. and the rest just navi. Color is a problem too. I want a blue one w/ navi/ent. found a grey navi/ent. and blue just navi.
I need some guidance as to how to prioritize my needs... first time buyin from a dealer. Any advice on talking down prize?

The Acura Cert will extend the orrig warrenty 12 months 12k miles and the powertrain to 7 years and 100k miles. I have seen MANY MDX's come through my lot at 233k miles, 251k miles, and even one with 276k miles and they all run great. Just remember that the cost of ownership does not stop at the purchase. Remember you have to take care of it. Make sure you buy from an Acura Dealer as they are the only one's who can cert it, find out if the dealership has any specials on oil changes (my dealership it is 36.50 with a hand wash and interior vac) and make sure to spend the money on things like a new timing bent at 105k miles. Make sure to do the 30-60-90k mile maintences. Thet may cost you up front but will save you in the end.

@ ronhensley

Okay great. I wasnt sure about the orig. warranty nd if they did anything about it. I currently drive a 91 acura integra with 183k miles and I do all maintenance at a trusted local shop. I slowly am getting to be good frnds with someone who works at my local Acura, they are family owned business rather than a auto group. Im sure i can get a low price.

I will definitely ask about the maintenance intervals for minor and major work. since i hav been goin off of chckin all engine fluids nd oil by hand. at least a newer acura will give me a sign if there is a problem in tht dept.

I just worry that 40-50k for 3 yr. old car is alot but most are in major cities so they are city driven rather than highway....
