Black vs Grigio 2012 MDX

About to purchase 2012 MDX with Tech Package and actually have the dealer holding two vehicles since I cant make up my mind on the Exterior color.
I am torned between Grigio vs Crystal Black Pearl.....
Black looks very classic....Grigio is unique....

I am firm on going with ebony interior....(less hassle with scuffs/marks).

Oh, I live in AZ so I heard from many that black is hot for AZ climate....but Grigio is still dark (although it's not ‚

Also heard that Black looks good when it's clean and it shows dirt very easily≥≥≥

please help....

I agree with the others regarding black cars...that's why I own a silver one!

Everything looks better in black. When the paint starts to get chipped, then you wrap it:

If you can manage to wash the car everyday, yes.

The problem is you wash it every other day, then you must polish it once a month. Fed-up, I'm seriously considering the wrap.

ETA: BTW, I agree. Grigio is the way to go. The metallic will look sharp on the MDX.

Stay away from black. Especially with Acura paint quality.

I have a black on black 09 MDX (I also have a black/black 12 Accord sedan and used to have a black/black 07 Accord V6)....trust me, scuff marks abound and it does require a bit more upkeep. But, when it's clean it looks great!!

Grigio. The lighter the better, IMO, if you get mildly depressed about cars showing imperfections in paint. My dads past few cars were black...what a nightmare to keep looking nice.

people say black looks great when it is clean and that is ture, but black only looks good when it is clean when it is brand new. After 10k miles, you get discouraged about waxing very visible paint chips.

i have a 2012 black on black and its beautiful!!! just expect 300$/yr of a good buff and wax to look extra clean and opt for a automated no contact carwash to keep it swirl free

I have a black/ebony and love it. I garage it at work and home so do need to wash often but not so bad. It is a beautiful color combo.

When clean, Black, hands down, looks the best! But if you don't want to worry about the maintenance involved to keep it clean, go with Grigio.

A little late to the conversation, but I'd go black on black- sharp! Any car is going to get dirty and not look as good when dirty. Black is worth the little extra up keep!

I loved my blk on blk sport 09 MDX but EVERYTHING shows up daily. Love the way is looks clean/perfect. Had a grey TSX for years and it covered up blemishes very well. Glad to have picked up a Grigio advance. Probably have less trips to dealer for complimentary car wash too.
