Best Car I Have Owned
As my 2008 MDX Tech/Ent. Pkg approaches 50k miles, I have to acknowledge it still looks good, runs well, and feels/handles well. Only normal maintenance, new tires, and under warranty replacement of sound system head unit.
It has been functional, a joy to drive, and bullet proof. In all a great car. And I am picky (I own and drive two BMWs, including a 2012 535i).

This is great to hear! I have an '07 MDX with the sport and tech packages at 90k miles. I share the same sentiments. I don't have BMWs (not sure I ever will considering the interiors are just substandard given the price points IMO, but i digress), but am picky about my cars and the MDX has been a fantastic and reliable fun to drive family hauler. My other vehicle is an '08 TL Type S.

Agreed. Our 2007 AWD MDX with Tech/Ent is easily the best vehicle we've ever owned...and that covers, unfortunately, a wide range of crap in there, but a lot of good with Lexus, BMW, and and Infiniti in there at various times. However, every Honda and Acura we've owned has been a rock solid vehicle. Even our Civic Hybrid, which we just traded for a 2014 RDX AWD w/Tech. Already loving the additional space for the family. The Civic just wasn't cutting it and the HVAC struggled here in Las Vegas, NV.

Agreed. 92 Vigor was my first Acura. Kept it until 2004, loaned to my son for University trips and, alas he totaled it. Purchased new 2005 MDX Touring still have it with 64K miles on it. I've owned over 30 motor vehicles. The two Acuras are my favorite vehicles. Acuras become keepers for me because regardless of the age or miles they perform, drive, and look better than the competition I test drive. Following the service schedules and
having excellent detail service every 2 or 3 years keeps things sparkling.

Our 2007 has been perfectly maintained over it's 157K miles. We had our first major incident with it two months ago when the power steering pump blew and the fluid dripped down onto the alternator taking it out as well. An expensive repair but this is a six year old vehicle with a buck fifty on it, and it's been in the hot dry climate of Las Vegas its entire life. Things start to go after time. We just replaced all the belts, hoses and anything else that looked dry rotted. Had our shop give it a good inspection and we fixed whatever was needed. Not much, a few hundred dollars.
We are going to replace the leather. I'll post pics after it's finished. I need to replace the headlight and fog light bulbs and clean up the lenses on the headlights. After that we're going to get the body and paint cleaned up and we're hoping to get another 100K out her.

For the 2010 MDX, follow the MID - just get to know the letter and number codes and when they show up on your central info display, follow it religiously. I believe around our year of MDX, there may have been a change in rear diff fluid specification but you can get it from any Acura store ( its now called SH AWD Fluid). Do not use Honda VTM4 for our 2010 MDX rear diff. The rest of it is pretty standard stuff - oil change, tire rotation etc..
How do your brakes feel - our 2010 MDX has 33k miles on it and I think within the next 5-10k miles, I will want to replace brake pads and probably tires too.

I've been all Honda since the early 90s and purchased my first Acura in 2006. Every Honda/Acura I've had has be a very solid vehicle and I usually take them close to the 200,000 mile mark before moving to the next one. They are very good vehicles if you take care of them.
My daughter and oldest niece destroyed two of my Honda Accord hand me downs in less than a year and they ended up in a junk yard. I even made a cheat sheet and showed them how to take care of the vehicles before giving them the keys. My son now has my 06 TSX and he is doing a much better job of treating the car as a reflection/extension of him instead of a disposable appliance like a lunch room microwave.

I did the transmission, sh-awd, and brake fluid. I also switched to K/N drop-in filter, put in a Fram CF10134 cabin air filter, and started using Mobil 1 5w-20 syn oil. I purchased my MDX used and I wasn't sure if the previous owner did a good job on maint (company car out of California).

I have worked on cars nearly all of my professional. I've learned over many years that for the money, there's not another car that can combine reliability, comfort and performance like Honda/Acura can.
I currently own four Acura's and one Honda. I will be a Honda owner until the day I pass.

The tech doing the oil change might have reset the light for you using the steering wheel controls. My MID service indicator does not reset itself. Not sure if B1 includes SHAWD fluid change or not - the manual might tell you. I would not miss out on SH AWD fluid change. Also, might want to check if the SH AWD fluid reservoir is two chambers or just one. At least one of my Acura's had a two chamber reservoir but I cannot remember if it is the RL or MDX ...

Re: Best Car Ever Owned.
Say this every day about my 2007 MDX Sport. Have never kept a car more than 5 years and now have had this one for 7. It currently has about 95K mi on the odo; I just finished a major, 3500.00 service that included timing belt, etc. (in anticipation of 100K recommendations), along with the only, significant "repair" that hasn't been routine service: replacing rear magnetic air shocks (800.00/ea, parts, only). Other than left center console lid leather coming loose (went ahead and replaced both sides after repair was unsatisfactory), this car has been a dream and pleasure to own to own.
