Acura MDX 2012 drivers door won’t open
I have a Acura MDX 2012. The outside door opening mechanism stopped working the other day and then the inside door opening mechanism stopped worked. The door appears to lock and unlock through key fob and manual switch but door is closed and unable to open.
I have read threads of opening panel and changing actuator but these are always with the door open.
can anyone help me get the door open so I can get the panel off and replace the actuator ?
any help would be very welcomed

If the door locks and unlocks then it isn't the lock actuator.
The only way it wouldn't open with the handle from the inside is if the cable inside had an issue or if the mechanism physically broke, which seems unlikely.
Did you have the door panel off recently? Did you have someone replace the lock actuator?

yes the car was repaired after an accident and they had the door panel off. This was about a month ago
to repair I clearly need to get the door panel off but because the door is closed this appears very difficult. Any suggestions on how to get the door open or the panel off (when the door is closed) would be really great.

So looks like the Repair shop messed up with Door? Did you try calling them?
