Hi,
We've got the "Check trailer stability assist" message and when it happened the car was not accelerating. Than it came back. It happened 2 times and now it is driving OK.
The DTC code is 45-01 (right front apply solenoid in the vsa pump?). I cleared it but it is coming up after a drive.
Please advise about the next steps. Do I need to replace the vsa pump?

Hello,
I have an update: today, in the afternoon I've noticed that the rear braking LED lights are not turning off and that the "Check trailer stability assist" message is not showing any longer. Could this be an indication of the brake pedal switch malfunctioning?

Removed and cleaned the brake switch (not had a replacement available). Cleaned error codes and after 2 drives no error cones back. Hopefully it was the brake switch. I'll let it for a few days and if all good I'll order a new replacement one to avoid headaches like this.

I am getting the same code after the car sat outside for 5 months. Thanks for sharing I will try the same -- remove and clean brake switch.

Do you have the same DTC error code 45?
Basically, one of the ABS/VSA unit solenoid is not working properly. Maybe just stuck in one place.
Try to work the brake pedal while driving and reset the error.
And check it out later.
If the problem return - replace VSA modulator-control unit.
If the problem intermitten - check ground point G303 for loose connection under left front of engine compartment.
